The Advanced Diploma of Management is a Nationally Recognised Qualification, providing its graduates with a critical advantage in today’s competitive workplace. Learning is paced over a 6 or 12 month period, whichever best suits your individual needs and lifestyle. Attendance at our modern and fully equipped learning campus is two to three days each month. Your learning resources are available online, providing ease and convenience of access. Assessments are by way of written and oral assignments, supplemented by practical activities. There are NO exams. Full trainer/assessor support is available throughout your studies.

At Course Completion:
This course will cover many areas of business operations and customer service management to a new advanced level. The units offered cover a wide range of management issues as well as opportunities to undertake practical assessment of current work-like situations. The key to the program is that the participants are able to apply knowledge or assigned findings directly to their workplace environments. It’s also an opportunity to further develop one’s IT skill levels in various programmes including an even higher level of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and more.

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to undertake a straightforward project or a section of a larger project. This unit addresses the management of projects, including developing a project plan, administering and monitoring the project, finalising the project, and reviewing the project to identify lessons learned for application to future projects. This unit is not appropriate for specialist project managers but instead focused towards senior managers and on the application of project-management skills and the requirement to meet timelines, quality standards, budgetary limits and other requirements set for the project.
BSBCOM603C: Plan and Establish Compliance Management Systems
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to plan and establish appropriate compliance program/management systems which enable an organisation to fulfil its obligations and responsibilities under applicable compliance requirements. The unit has been designed to be consistent with AS 3806:2006 Compliance programs and is relevant to the role of a chief executive officer or senior manager in a small business, and to a senior manager and compliance section manager in larger organisations, who have specific responsibility for the planning, development and operation of a compliance program/management system.
BSBMGT608C: Manage Innovation and Continuous Improvement
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to sustain and develop an environment in which continuous improvement, innovation and learning are promoted and rewarded. It applies to people with managerial responsibilities, including for building a better and more effective work environment. Continuous improvement and innovation have links with the model of the learning organisation and people working at this level play an important role in building the culture, values and attitudes of the organisation. Links may also be made formal quality systems, such as International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) or quality software.
BSBMKG609A: Develop a Marketing Plan
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to research, develop and present a marketing plan for an organisation. It applies to individuals working in senior marketing positions who are responsible for formulating a marketing plan by developing specific marketing strategies and tactics in accordance with the organisation's
overall marketing objectives. Individuals operating at this level may receive input from people working under their supervision who collect information required to devise specific marketing strategies and tactics.
BSBMGT605B: Provide Leadership Across the Organisation
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to demonstrate senior leadership behaviour, and personal and professional competence. It applies to senior managers who have a role in inspiring and motivating others to achieve organisational goals and to model professionalism in their organisation and industry. Leadership is seen in the context of the organisational mission. Business ethics are also addressed in this unit. The unit may relate equally to leadership of a small to medium-sized organisation or to a business unit or area in a large organisation.

BSBMGT616A: Develop and Implement Strategic Plans
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to establish the strategic direction of the organisation, and to sustain competitive advantage and enhance competitiveness. It requires analysis and interpretation of relevant markets, capability assessment of the organisation, and its existing and potential competitors and allies. It also covers implementation of the strategic plan. It applies to individuals working in senior roles in the organisation, who have responsibility for ensuring that the organisation is positioned to ensure its long term viability and success. The unit covers the requirements for analysing the organisation's present position, and for developing specific actions and initiatives that will be undertaken by people working in various roles.
BSBRSK501B: Manage Risk
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage risks in a range of contexts across the organisation or for a specific business unit or area. It addresses the management of the risk across the organisation or within a business unit or area. It does not assume any given industry setting. It is applicable to individuals who are working in positions of authority and are approved to implement change across the organisation, business unit, program or project area. They may or may not have responsibility for directly supervising others.
BSBINN601B: Manage Organisational Change
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to determine strategic change requirements and opportunities; and to develop, implement and evaluate change management strategies. It applies to managers with responsibilities that extend across the organisation or across significant parts of a large organisation. They may have a dedicated role in human resources management, human resources development, or work in a strategic policy or planning area. The unit takes a structured approach to change management and applies to people with considerable work experience and organisational knowledge.
