The Diploma of Project Management is designed to provide the skills and best practise framework and principles to ensure projects in the workplace are completed at the level of expectations from the business.

Our program material is based on the latest benchmark publication, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), version 5 which offers an understanding of project management skills and knowledge needed throughout the entire lifecycle of any project.

You will gain the skills to manage the work of a team as well as learn how to manage timelines, budgets, control the quality of projects, and generate maximum team performance.

Manage integration of all functions of project management, coordinate internal and external environments and implement project activities throughout life cycle.

Conduct project authorisation activities, conduct project scope definition activities and manage application of scope controls.

Determine project schedules, implement project schedules and assess time management outcomes.

Determine project costs, monitor and control project costs and conduct financial completion activities.

Determine quality requirements, implement quality assurance processes and implement project quality improvements.

Implement human resource and stakeholder planning activities, implement staff training and development and manage the project team and stakeholders.

Plan communications processes, manage project information and assess communications management outcomes.

Determine project risks, monitor and control project risks and assess risk management outcomes.

Determine procurement requirements, establish agreed procurement processes, conduct contracting and procurement activities, implement contract and/or procurement and manage contract and procurement finalisation procedures.

This qualification is ideal for those who have had experience in managing projects, or have been involved as a team member on projects and looking to progress their career as a Project Manager such as:
There are no formal entry requirements into this qualification however; the qualification is suited to participants who possess a sufficient grasp of the English language, adequate levels of intelligence, and appropriate attitude and motivation to enable them to undertake the demands of a Diploma level qualification.

Also access to, and an ability to use a computer for word processing, creating and maintaining spread sheets, creating and presenting slides, using project management software applications (such as Microsoft Project or Primavera) and internet access to locate and use relevant research material.
