This course covers the essential skills in planning, managing and maintaining database management systems. You’ll learn how to organise data, design data support solutions and develop security processes and procedures. The skills you learn are those required of database designers and developers in corporate IT teams, data warehousing teams and data and analytics consultancies.

This Diploma course is eligible for a VET Student Loan from the Australian Government to assist you with paying for your tuition fees. VET Student Loan is an Australian Government Loan program available to Australian Citizens. For the ICT50515 – Diploma of Database Design and Development, you can borrow a $10,000 VET Student Loan, which you will be required to pay back once you are earning above a certain threshold.
The balance of the tuition fees can be made with $200 up front and $100 every month over the 12 month period. You can pay the remaining balance in one lump sum if preferred.

You will study best practice principles in disaster recovery, contingency planning, maintenance services, installation deployment and release testing. You will explore the areas of ethics, business requirements gathering, workplace effectiveness and strategic thinking.
This program aims to instill a design thinking approach in students to provide them with a distinctive problem solving strength for solving web, app and UX design challenges. This program embeds a number of internationally recognized vendor certifications to ensure graduates are competitive the job market.
