New Horizons officially launched its first ever Licence to Drive School Holiday Program over the 2012 April School Holidays.

This program aimed to provide year 10, 11 and 12 high school students throughout NSW with the skills they require to be more effective and productive in the three primary Microsoft Office applications used in most businesses across Australia: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Having achieved a certification of completion for their attendance, each student is now well on their way towards gaining a headstart as they begin entering the corporate workplace.

New Horizons would like to take the opportunity to thank all the students and parents that were involved in making this program such a success.

Jeans for Genes is a national fundraiser for the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI), an independent organisation committed to unlocking the mystery of diseases such as cancer, birth defects and epilepsy affecting young children in Australia.

With over 10 employees hitting the streets to help the cause, New Horizons Learning Centres was able to raise over $1,200 to be contributed to Children's Medical Research Institute.
