Microsoft Edge which was formerly known as Project Spartan is the next generation browser that ships along with Windows 10. In today’s blog, I will be covering some of the new features of Microsoft Edge browser.
Microsoft Edge browser comes with a web note tool that allows you to capture an image of a website, add notes and sketches, and save it or share it. It also allows you to add comments. It is a perfect tool for online research as you can add comments, highlights to sections of the web page and save it.

Microsoft edge also comes with a reading view tool that strips out the unnecessary information from the web page, for instance, advertisements. It gives a clear, focused view of the main content of the web page such as text, images and videos.
Cortana plays a major role in Microsoft Edge browser. While surfing, if you select any word on the webpage and right click on it, you can ask Cortana for more information. She will show more information on the right-hand side of the webpage without needing you to navigate away from the web page.
