Join us in supporting the Salvation Army 2012 Christmas Appeal
This Christmas, New Horizons has joined with the Salvation Army to help support the 2014 Christmas Appeal. Our staff are always eager to get in the festive spirit, but are even more excited this year to be helping the Salvation Army to support those who will be less fortunate than most this Christmas.

| How can you help? |
We are reaching out to all students who will be coming in to our
training centres for a course in December and asking for donations of gifts and non-perishable food items to pass on to the Salvation Army. The Christmas Appeal will help to support those who will not be as fortunate as most this Christmas.
We have set up a Christmas tree in our
reception areas, so if you are coming in for a course with us and would like to donate a gift or food items to the Christmas Appeal, simply leave these items under the tree when you sign in. |

| Please see below for some suggested donations: |
- Food: Non-perishable, preferably with a long storage date, that can be used by families over the Christmas and New Year period.
- Unwrapped gifts: The reason the Salvation Army requests unwrapped presents is to allow parents to personally select suitable gifts for their children.
- Gift vouchers: What a great idea! They’re an ideal gift for older children and adults, or for a parent who doesn't want to miss out on the joy of purchasing their child a Christmas gift directly from the store.
- Soft toys: The Salvation Army has an abundance of soft toys so they ask that wherever possible you refrain from donating soft toys.

| Listed below are the age groups for which gifts are most urgently required this year. |
- Babies: 0-12 months, safe toys (no rattles), bunny rugs, feeder sets, etc.
- Toddlers: 1-3 years, safe toys
- Boys and Girls: Age 12+
