We all have that odd occasion when we want to relax and play some games, just to find that someone has already tuned into their favourite show on the television. Luckily for us we now have the ability to be anywhere within our home and still enjoy our games without chasing them away from the TV.
One of the benefits of using Microsoft related devices is that it is easier than ever before to set up your devices to talk to one another, one of these examples is to stream your Xbox One content to one of your Windows 10 Devices. To set up this streaming however there is a few requirements that needs to be in place, these requirements are the following:
- Make sure your device that you want to stream to have Windows 10 installed, as well as the Xbox application installed. The Xbox application can be found in the Windows Store and is free.
- Your Xbox must have streaming enabled in the settings.
- Finally your devices must be in the same network in order to stream the content.
Once clicked the stream option will find all the devices in your network that has the streaming option already enabled, if however the device is still not found in your network you can also enter the IP address of the console.
Once you found the console of your choosing you can use the connect button to start the streaming, once you have connected you will then see the Xbox Main screen that you normally get when turn on the console.
That is how simple it is to get your Xbox content streamed onto another Windows 10 device, being either a Phone, tablet or PC.
